We can only cover a small part of what has happened in this newsletter, but we know that in an uncertain world we are in a better position than ever to provide high quality products, service and support to the industries we serve.

Dimaco joins the Jenton Group

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Dimaco, the UK’s leading developer of label verification systems. Primarily found within the food industry, Dimaco has developed both on and off line systems for verifying key data on labels such as price, weight, sell by date and, of course, correct artwork.
The Dimaco team will remain based at their Bedford offices and will benefit from further investment and support of the Jenton Group including the creation of a new showroom with both Dimaco and  Jenton Ariana products on display.

JenACT were very proud winners of the PPMA Sustainability award at this year’s PPMA awards dinner. The prize was awarded for their joint project with Marine Products (Scotland) Ltd on surface disinfecon of salmon fillets using ultra –violet light. A secondary benefit of the project was the doubling in shelf life of the salmon fillets from ten to twenty days. JenACT hold a number of UK and International patents and are at the forefront of UV disinfection technology.

UV Curing just gets better…

As a leading supplier of microwave, arc and UV LED curing systems since the mid 1980s Jenton UV LED International has always been at the leading edge of UV technology. Two such examples are the Omnicure UV LED systems from Excelitas Technologies in Toronto Canada. With up to 14 was/cm sq from a small footprint, air-cooled  UV LEDs have really come of age. These systems are ideal for integration into inkjet printing, coatings and curing systems and, of course, Jenton International’s CAD team are on hand to provide a turnkey solution. For users of UV LED systems, accurate measurement of the UV intensity has sometimes been an issue. The new LED-R radiometer from EIT Systems of Virginia USA has a near rectangular UV filter from 370- 420nm making it the perfect choice for UV LEDs. To discuss any aspects of UV curing and radiometry please contact our UV Sales Manager,Jeremy Woodbridge at jwoodbridge@jenton.co.uk or 01256 892194
